At Sykes Group, we know there’s no ‘one size fits all’. While we offer ready-made products, which are suitable for most projects, we are ready to work with our customers on customised units for their demanding operations.
Customisation doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. Recently, when a mining customer in West Africa required two pump sets, we provided them with a version of our original stock pumps, XH150-PR, after assessing their needs. The customisation only involved the mechanical seal, which was changed to gland pack and the fitting of some electrical parts. To meet the client’s specifications, these pumps were driven by a Caterpillar C13 engine with a tank capacity of 2,100 litres. Efficient and effective customisation done right.
