The long-term partnership between Coates Hire and Sykes Group took another solid step forward when our team delivered the new fleet of 105 FG Wilson generators to Coates in June 2017.
Comprising of 50 trailer mounted and 55 skid based generators the purpose built 14 and 22kVa units will be in operation throughout Australia from July, this year.
This customised range of generators, provided by Sykes Group, has been built to last the tough life they are expected to endure in the hire industry and continue to perform to maximum capability.
The new additions to the Coates fleet needed to hit the ground running from day one to meet the client’s high demand on hire equipment and that is exactly what our team delivered.
The generators have been built with solid silenced canopies, skid bases complete with central lifting points for ease of transportation, outlets, terminals for connection of cables with a variety of protection systems available to suit many applications.
These versatile generators will be used in building, construction, light and heavy industry, mining and resources, electrical testing, pumping and industrial equipment, site power, process machinery, plant shutdowns and ongoing maintenance.
The project, the largest single delivery volume for nearly five years, was a collaborative effort between our business, including Engineering, Production, Service, Supply Chain, Product Management and FG Wilson to ensure that these generators met the rigors of the design specification and ensure complete satisfaction with our Customer.
