Our Specialist Pump Team faced technical and delivery time challenges when bidding for an open Tender opportunity from Sonoma County California (USA), in January this year. Once again they demonstrated an innovative approach in providing efficient and cost effective pumping solutions to clients on time, every time.
The Tender specification was technically detailed and called for a heavy duty automatic self-priming pumpset. Requirements included a diaphragm prime system, 3” (75mm) solids handling capability, final Tier 4 diesel engine package and the capability of delivering 3200 USgpm (201 l/sec) maximum flow and a maximum pressure of 130 feet (39.6m).
Our Sykes/Primax CP150i pumpset solution was the most competitively priced package and fully compliant, delivering excellent operational capability while exceeding the performance expectations. The standard inclusion of 316ss impeller and wearplates, providing a first rate corrosion resistance was also a key factor in our client’s decision to award AllightPrimax (the registered trade mark of Sykes Group in North America) as the preferred supplier for this project.
