Recently, we worked with Endeavour Mining Company. The client’s mining vice president was a strong fan of a competitor’s pump and was reluctant to make the shift to Sykes Group.
Faced with this unique challenge, our team made it our mission to deliver impeccable service to Endeavour Mining Company. Our initiative was to make the client experience as personalised and tailored as possible. Through communication and truly listening to the client, we understood that the main challenge was lack of product knowledge and an inadequate pump selection to suit it’s needs.
We organised a series of customer site visits, thorough training and a hands-on pump audit. Endeavour Mining Company’s team became well-versed and thoroughly educated on Sykes Group pumps, its application to suit their scenario and how to navigate any hiccups that might arise in the process.
After this successful delivery, our perception amongst the team has shifted as a commanding expert. The client has now made a standard specification for their fleet based on our recommendation. To date, we have sold many units to Endeavour Mining Company and we continue to service them on a regular basis.
